California Reading & Literature Project
Who We Are
The California Reading and Literature Project (CRLP) is part of a statewide professional development network comprised of the nine disciplines required for university admission (UC and CSU) and graduation from high school. Together we form the University of California Subject Matter Projects (CSMP).
At UCLA, we are part of Center X, the teacher learning center of the UCLA Graduate School of Education and Information Studies.
Mission Statement
The mission of the California Reading and Literature Project is to provide high quality, standards-based professional development in reading and language arts instruction to ensure that every California K-12 student achieves the highest standards of academic performance.
CRLP collaborates with partnership districts to support and sustain continuous improvement, including the implementation of State Board adopted instructional materials.
