Getting to Sepulveda Basin Wildlife Preserve
|
The Sepulveda Basin Wildlife Reserve is located in Van Nuys, California and is bounded by Victory Blvd on the North, Burbank Blvd on the South, Woodley Avenue on the West and the 405 Freeway on the East. It is accessible from Woodley Avenue.
From the 405 Freeway take the Victory Blvd exit and go West on Victory. Proceed for 1.5 miles and turn South (left) on Woodley Avenue. Continue South on Woodley, for just under a mile, and keep your eyes peeled for a
driveway marked with a Japanese-styled, blue-tiled, buff-colored sign on the Eastside (left) bearing the words Donald C. Tillman Water Reclamation Plant/Japanese Garden.
|
Turn into this driveway, bear to the right and take the first driveway branch to the right. This driveway is paved but has no signage. Continue down this paved lane, past the cricket fields, until you come to the Sepulveda Basin Wildlife Reserve.
